Why is my online Discover Card payment still "processing?"?

I made an online payment to pay my Discover credit card bill for the first time. I did it in the evening on Friday, and it is now Sunday (April 11, the day that my bill is due). However, when I log on to my Discover account, it says the payment is still
Because it takes a full business day to process. Saturday and Sunday are not business days. I think you should be okay, but in the future make your minimum payment and as soon as you can and then pay more later. That way you'll never be late. You
